I recently rehabbed this old table...
The tag says that it was produced by ZUK FURNITURE M.F.G CO. A quick internet search came up that Zuk made high end furniture that was sold in fine Department and Furniture Stores in Chicago in the 1920s - 1930s.
We purchased the table from Craigslist for $15. It had some normal wear and warping from years of use. I used a little bit of wood filler on a spot that was tough to paint and sanded it down. The table was then painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, in a color called 'Paris Grey' and waxed with dark and clear wax to texture the finish.
Here's the final result:
That's all for today. Time to enjoy the sunshine!
